Due to changes to Instagram's API, a few Smarthash features will be affected. No features will be removed completely, but a few features will only be available to Instagram Business Accounts.
If you don't want to miss out on any of the features of Smarthash, you can switch your Instagram account to an Instagram Business Account. Click Here to find out how to switch. Here's the list of changes coming to Smarthash starting in March 31st, 2020. ( Previously March 1st ) Split Testing and Heat Maps Split Testing and Heat Maps will only be available to Instagram Business/Creator accounts. In order for Smarthash to analyze how well your tags are doing, Smarthash needs to know how well your posts did ( likes, comments, or impressions ). These data points are now only available for Instagram Business accounts. Insights Of course, with the above data points not available, all Insights will only be available for Instagram Business accounts. Login via Instagram Instagram's API is removing the ability to Login to 3rd party apps so for current users of Smarthash who have been using the "Login via Instagram" feature, you'll now have to Login via the email address you added when you initially signed up. You'll also require a password to Login via Email, and you can do this in one of two ways. You can tap on the Forgot Password button so that you will receive an email with instruction on how to reset your password. Or, if you're already logged in, you can visit the User Settings and change your password there. |
